In the last 10 years, around 1.4 million PV systems have been built in Germany. New developments and service call-outs to old devices are attracting interest to the issue of 'repowering“ PV inverters. We've therefore introduced our KOSTAL Solar Repower Check for replacing existing inverters.
Inverter replacement is now incredibly simple: The tool programmed by
pv-sos works based on the inverter being replaced, so all you need to do is enter the manufacturer, the type of the defective inverter and the corresponding data into the program.
Our repowering tool suggests suitable replacement devices from KOSTAL’s own range. If there's no direct replacement device available, the program provides selected alternatives, such as more powerful devices. However, you do then have to consult values highlighted in colour to check briefly whether the device’s technology is actually configured for the system.
