You no doubt still remember the campaign we held for our anniversary last year: as part of our 10th anniversary, we handed over a remarkable € 25,000 donation to the Solar Energy Foundation to combat energy-related poverty in developing countries.
We're delighted that the project, which lasted several months, has been successfully completed in the KOSTAL solar village in Uganda. The new, reliable basic electricity supply generated from solar power and used for lighting and mobile phone charging is helping to further develop the village and the region, and this is thanks to our customers, who have helped many hundreds of families by ordering our PIKO inverters. As a family-owned company, we're proud to have created smart connections that are anchored internationally.
