Simply smart: Configuration software that has been extended, optimised and renamed

As well as integrating the new PLENTICORE plus and PIKO IQ product series, the PIKO Plan software has also been renamed as KOSTAL Solar Plan. We have made significant optimisations with this new software: In contrast to the previous version, the inverter ratings being considered can now be selected when the tool is started to achieve a more targeted and faster layout. Furthermore, depending on the database selected beforehand, the PLENTICORE plus hybrid inverter can be designed either as a pure PV device (with up to 3 MPP trackers) or as a battery inverter (with up to 2 MPP trackers and DC storage connection).

This update also takes specific customer requests into account. For example, in the rewiring area, there is now the option of directly exchanging inverters or adding further inverters at this point.

Here is an overview of the most important updates:

• Even more choice thanks to integration of the PLENTICORE plus and PIKO IQ series, hence the new name of KOSTAL Solar Plan
• Clearer inverter design thanks to pre-selection of inverter databases
• Optimised rewiring with the option of exchanging inverters and subsequently adding and removing devices
• Even faster path to layout thanks to general performance enhancements
• Always up-to-date thanks to the update wizard optimisation
• Helpful tips about the tool thanks to a mouse-over display and help area
• PIKO 36 EPC work area: Calculations have been added that are dependent on the supply voltage
• Even more options: Mixed project inverter connections with inverters of the PIKO series > FW 5.00 have been enabled.
