Choosing the right storage system has become a real challenge in view of the sharp increase in the number of systems available on the German market. Of course, there's a wide range of criteria that can be used to make a decision. However, the decisive factor for the majority of prospective buyers is probably still the economic efficiency of the system. For the first time, the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (HTW) has transformed this into a transparent index called the System Performance Index (SPI). The results of the first Energy Storage Inspection published at the end of 2018 compare 20 systems from ten different manufacturers, providing important inspiration for selecting the right system.
