The award ceremony took place at the Designers‘ Night at ewerk Berlin among award-winning projects. In the exhibition 'Design on Stage“ which was shown exclusively for one night, guests were impressed by the excellent design quality of the best brands and the communication design projects of the year.
Our new KOSTAL Solar App impressed the jury with its high level of design quality, creative performance and intuitive handling. As well as offering holistic photovoltaic system monitoring, the app also contains a very special feature:
it uses a virtual battery to create a customised prognosis for PV systems that can't yet store the energy they generate to see how much self-consumption would be possible with a storage unit. And this helps to decide whether or not to invest in a battery.
