Update on the current maintenance work on the KOSTAL Solar Portal and KOSTAL Solar App

New infrastructure should reliably ensure smooth recording and structured visualisation of all system data.

With the Solar Portal, KOSTAL offers its customers a free service for efficient monitoring of their PV systems. The technical platform of the KOSTAL Solar Portal has been extensively revised over the last few months to allow for further expansion and new functionalities, but also to cope with future system growth.

The revision essentially involves setting up a completely new data infrastructure. In future, this infrastructure should reliably ensure the smooth recording and structured presentation of all system data with higher performance.

As a first step, this new infrastructure was put into operation in the KOSTAL Solar Portal in just a few days and on schedule before Christmas. Customers have full access to their system activities via the KOSTAL Solar Portal and their browser (smartphone or PC).

Anomalies in live operation, isolated data gaps and bug fixes are now being updated.

In a second step, a new version of the KOSTAL Solar app with access to the portal data was added to the respective app stores. Anomalies that could only be detected during live operation made it necessary to temporarily disconnect the KOSTAL Solar app from the portal.

Unfortunately, the maintenance work on the KOSTAL Solar app is still ongoing. All system data - current and historical - will be retained and will not be lost. All data will continue to be recorded and stored without restriction and can also be accessed via the Solar App as usual. Until then, parallel access via the browser (www.kostal-solar-portal.com) will continue to offer the option of viewing all system data.
